Williamsburg, Virginia-born musician Bruce Hornsby has made ten appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, the first eight of which came with his band The Range. Hornsby’s biggest hit came with his second charting single, “The Way It Is,” which exactly 30 years ago climbed to number one for a one-week reign.
