DEF: Beastie Boys “Hey Ladies”

New York City-based group Beastie Boys‘ album Paul’s Boutique is often considered their best album, or at least one of their best albums. In 2003, Rolling Stone listed it as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. One single from the album appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, and on this date in 1989, that single — “Hey Ladies” — climbed to a peak position of number 36, where it would spend one week.
