DEF: B.J. Thomas “Whatever Happened to Old Fashioned Love”

Oklahoma-born singer B.J. Thomas is most known for his string of hits from the mid-1960s to the mid-1970s that included five Top 10 singles, two of which reached number one. Thomas did, though, appear on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart once in the 1980s. That appearance came with “Whatever Happened to Old Fashioned Love,” which on this date in 1983 debuted at a peak position of number 93 in its first of two weeks on the chart. “Whatever Happened to Old Fashioned Love” by B.J.
