DEF: Amy Grant “Tennessee Christmas”

For the 1983 Christmas season, Amy Grant released A Christmas Album, the first of several Christmas albums she has turned out over the last three-and-half decades. The album’s first song, “Tennessee Christmas,” would eventually be rerecorded in 2016 for her most recent Christmas album, for which it would also provide the title. Grant’s 1983 version of “Tennessee Christmas” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
