DEF: Alan Tew “The Big One” (The People’s Court Theme Song)
As you have likely heard, Judge Joseph Wapner, the original judge on the television show The People’s Court, died this weekend at the age of 97. First airing in 1981, The People’s Court became a cultural phenomenon in the 1980s, and part of the phenomenon was the theme song. In memory of Judge Wapner, that song — “The Big One” by Alan Tew — is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
