Birthday of the Week: Jeff Beck

This week’s Birthday of the Week is guitarist Jeff Beck, who turns 75 tomorrow. Beck is known for having replaced Eric Clapton in The Yardbirds in the mid-1960s and, after that, forming the Jeff Beck Group and working with a multitude of well-known artists over the past five decades.

In honor of his milestone, what’s your favorite song by or featuring Jeff Beck? As a child of the 80s, I’m partial to the version of “People Get Ready” he recorded with Rod Stewart and released in 1985.
