Billboard Turning It Up Online

Recently I have noticed that Billboard Magazine has been turning up the heat on what they have got to offer. I saw this article last year that exclaimed that “Billboard aims to be one-stop shop for listening, shopping for music.” Since the launch of their user-centric website, they unburied content and made it more easily accessible on the homepage. The music charts are also more intuitively organized. However what personally made me take notice is when the music magazine launched their iPhone application.

Billboard magazine’s iPhone app is worth the $2.99 because it makes the magazine portable. Now I can look up almost any current chart, download the song right from iTunes and even look up past hits. If you are music aficionado, then you need to check out the Billboard Magazine iPhone app.

Billboard’s App is gone from the App Store. Does anyone know what happened? This was my favorite app.

I just found out from Billboard Magazine’s Director of Digital that the Billboard iPhone app has been removed momentarily. A new charts app will be released in the near future.
