Acoustic Jam: Best Of Both Worlds

Can the acoustic version ever be better than the original? Back in the 1990s, MTV’s Unplugged exploded on the scene and every musical artist from Jimmy Page & Robert Plant to the Stone Temple Pilots recorded a set of acoustic tunes. The clip above is Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen performing the 1986 classic Best of Both Worlds at a benefit at Shoreline Amphitheater in 1993. The guitar playing and vocals capture the original essence of the song but the acoustic version adds another dimension. What do you think? Is it better than the original?
