Philadelphia-based duo Zhané hit the Top 40 with all five songs they placed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all in the 1990s. The pair’s biggest hit was their only Top 10 hit, which came with their first song to hit the chart, “Hey Mr. D.J.” The song reached a peak of number 6 in October 1993, and exactly 25 years ago was in the last of its seven weeks in the Top 10.
