25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Rod Stewart “Have I Told You Lately”

In 1993, Rod Stewart released the live album Unplugged … and Seated from his appearance that year on MTV’s television show Unplugged. Two songs from the album were released as singles and hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 25 years ago, the first of those two songs — a remake of Van Morrison’s “Have I Told You Lately” — was in its second week of a three-week stay at a peak position of number 5.
