Monica hit the Top 10 with her first seven appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 25 years ago, the third of those singles, “Why I Love You So Much” from her debut album Miss Thang paired with “Ain’t Nobody” from the 1996 film The Nutty Professor, rose to a peak position of number 9.
