25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Haddaway “What Is Love”

Trinidad and Tobago-born musician Haddaway hit the Top 40 with one of the two songs he placed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. That one Top 40 hit was “What Is Love,” which many people know from the “Roxbury” skits featuring Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan on Saturday Night Live. A few years before the skits, and exactly 25 years ago, “What Is Love” rose to a peak position of number 11.
