Between 1987 and 1990, Miami-based vocal trio Exposé reached the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their first seven charting singles. The run started with “Come Go With Me,” which reached number 5 in 1987; hit its climax right in the middle as the fourth single, “Seasons Change,” spent a week at number 1 in 1988; and finished with “Tell Me Why,” which peaked at number 9 in 1990. Exactly 25 years ago, “Tell Me Why” reached that peak position, where it would spend its only week within the Top 10 to continue the streak.
