25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Calloway “I Wanna Be Rich”

Cincinnati-based duo Calloway, consisting of brothers Reginald and Vincent Calloway, have hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice, with two consecutive singles in 1990. Their second single, “All The Way,” reached a peak position of number 63 that summer, following the success of their first charting single, “I Wanna Be Rich,” during the spring. Exactly 25 years ago today, “I Wanna Be Rich” reached a peak position of number 2, where it would spend one week.
