Believe it or not, today marks 5 years since Shakira and Wyclef Jean hit number 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with “Hips Don’t Lie.”  The song would spend two weeks at the top, and to date it is Shakira’s only number 1 hit.  It’s the second song to feature Wyclef Jean and top the chart, following Santana’s “Maria Maria” in 2000.
