Peter Gabriel, the successful solo artist and former lead singer of Genesis, turned 60 last week. Tunesmate would like to honor Mr. Gabriel with a game of Sentune. Take five Peter Gabriel song/album titles and make them into a sentence.
Sentune:

Happy Belated birthday to Ozzy Osbourne who turned 61 the other day! I don’t think Ozzy believes that he has made it this long with his music or his life. Thanks to Sharon Osbourne for keeping him alive. As tribute to Ozzy, tunesmate salutes the classic rocker with a sentune; here is list of Ozzy songs for a hint.. Try taking five song titles of the artist and arrange them in a sentence.
Ozzy Sentune:
No more tears Mr. Crowley, mama I’m coming home back on earth, see you on the other side.

For this sentune, rather than finding 5 songs by the same artist, try to string together 5 Christmas song titles to make a sentence. Try carrolling to this one:
Last Christmas, home for the holidays, I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus rockin’ around the Christmas tree up on the housetop.

Happy Birthday to Billy Idol who turns 54 today! In honor of the man with the whiplash smile, we celebrate him with a sentune. Try taking five song titles of the artist and arrange them in a sentence.

In honor of the rumor that Steven Tyler has been fired by Aerosmith and being replaced by another singer, Tunesmate salutes them with a sentune. Once again, the object of the game is to take five song titles of the same artist and compose them into a sentence or what we like to a call a sen-tune. If five is too much, then try Sentune Jr. and just do three songs.
Sentune Jr. (three songs):
Angel walk this way, I don’t want to miss a thing
Sentune (five songs):
Pink get a grip, Janies got a gun, walk this way to the other side.

Continuing our Sen-tune game this week is Madonna. Once again, the object of the game is to take five song titles of the same artist and compose them into a sentence or what we like to a call a sen-tune.
Here’s my attempt at the first Madonna sentune:
Hung up 4 minutes frozen, live to tell everybody.

Back in college, Ray Schuck and I used to play a game where we’d challenge each other back and forth speaking in song titles. For the sake of blog format, we’ve invented a new game called Sen-tunes, where you take five songs from an artist and make a sentence out of them. Tunesmate is going to pick an artist, give you an example and then ask you for your best shot of turning five tunes into a sentence. This week it’s time to make a Sentunes from Fleetwood Mac.
Ray started it. Who knew Fleetwood Mac could sound like Confucius?: Dreams go your own way as long as you follow little lies everywhere.
