R.I.P. Heavy D

As numerous media outlets are reporting, rapper Heavy D passed away today at the age of 44.  With his hip hop group, the Boyz, Heavy D hit the national scene with the album Living Large in 1987.  The group would release four more albums over the next seven years, with their biggest success coming with their third offering, Big Tyme, which featured their biggest hit single, “Now That We Found Love,” which rose to number 11 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1991 and is featured above.

Heavy D released four albums after his work with the Boyz, including Love Opus, which was just released last month.
