Guess What? McCartney Denied Weird Al’s Parody

Back in 1992, Weird Al was ready to release “Chicken Pot Pie”. It’s a song parody of “Live and Let Die” by Paul McCartney. Guess what? Sir Paul is a strict vegetarian and he wasn’t wild about the reference of meat so he denied permission. Al had a similar issue with the release of “Amish Paradise”, a parody of Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise”. However, it wasn’t until the song was issued that Coolio said he didn’t give permission to release the song.
