Gary DeCarlo 1942-2017

Bridgeport, Connecticut-born singer Gary DeCarlo passed away Wednesday at the age of 75. DeCarlo is best known as the singer and a cowriter of the song “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” which hit number one in 1969. The song was attributed to the band Steam, though DeCarlo didn’t join the actual band, which formed after the success of the single.
