Eddie Money 1949-2019

As you’ve likely heard, Eddie Money passed away today at the age of 70. To honor Money, let us know your fondest memory involving one or more of his songs.

Personally, I have memories connected to lots of his songs, including watching the video for “The Love in Your Eyes” while working at a radio station in high school, driving in the snow in 1993 and hearing “Save a Little Room in Your Heart for Me,” and countless times listening to “Take Me Home Tonight.” The one memory that stands above them, though, is driving in my hometown while making nursing-home deliveries for my grandfather’s drugstore and listening to “Walk on Water” on the radio. Hearing that song always makes me think of that.
