DEF: Wham! “Last Christmas”
One of the more enduring Christmas songs from the 1980s is “Last Christmas” by Wham! The song was released in 1984 as a companion to the single “Everything She Wants,” which would go on to reach number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Though “Last Christmas” didn’t reach the Hot 100 alone as a single in the 1980s, it did chart briefly on the Hot 100 Airplay chart in early 1998.
