Ohio-based band Pure Prairie League has appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 seven times, all between 1975 and 1981. Among those seven hits, the band reached the Top 10 just once, with “Let Me Love You Tonight” in 1980. Exactly 35 years ago, “Let Me Love You Tonight” climbed to its peak position of number 10, where it would spend two weeks.
