In the fall of 1987 Pink Floyd appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for the first time in seven years as their single “Learning To Fly” from their album A Momentary Lapse Of Reason hit the chart. On this date that year “Learning To Fly” reached its peak position of number 70, where it would spend one week.
