One week ago, Tunesmate noted that exactly 30 years ago, Madonna hit number one for the first time as what has perhaps been her most iconic song, “Like A Virgin,” began its six-week run at the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. As today marks week two of that run, today’s Daily Eighties Flashback is the B-side of the “Like A Virgin” single, “Stay,” which was another cut from Madonna’s Like A Virgin album.
