DEF: Lionel Richie “Truly”

In his solo career outside of the Commodores, Lionel Richie hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart five times. While the first was his duet “Endless Love” with Diana Ross, his first that was, well, truly on his own was “Truly,” which exactly 35 years ago rose to the top of the chart for a two-week reign. “Truly” by Lionel Richie is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
