DEF: Glenn Frey “Soul Searchin'”

As you’ve likely heard by now, Detroit-born musician and Eagles band member Glenn Frey passed away Monday at the age of 67. In addition to his highly successful work with the Eagles, Frey released five solo albums, the first three of which came in the 1980s and produced seven Top 40 hits. The title track from Frey’s third solo album, Soul Searchin’, was released as a single, but did not make Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, though it did hit the Top 5 on the Adult Contemporary chart. In memory of Frey, “Soul Searchin'” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
