DEF: George Michael “Faith”

Released in October 1987, George Michael‘s first solo album, Faith, would launch the already famous singer into the stratosphere of popular music success. In addition to selling more than 20 million copies, the album would produce six Top 5 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, four of which reached number one. The biggest hit was the album’s title track, which exactly 30 years ago climbed to number one for a four-week reign at the top.
