In the mid-1980s musicians David Baerwald and David Ricketts came together in Los Angeles to form the act David & David. The act would release one album, Boomtown, and that album spawned one Top 40 hit, “Welcome To The Boomtown.” On this date in 1986, “Welcome To The Boomtown” reached its peak position of number 37, where it would spend one week.
