Liverpool, England-based band A Flock of Seagulls hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart four times, all in the 1980s, with three of those singles hitting the Top 40 and one of them reaching the Top 10. On this date in 1982, that one Top 10 hit — “I Ran” — peaked at number 9, where it would spend two weeks.
