Walmart no longer sells mp3s online but they do recommend hot new artists on the rise. Walmart calls new impact artists “risers”. You can listen to new artists clips while you shop and buy the CD.

Vernon Reid is the guitarist for Living Colour and in my opinion is one of the best of all-time. The African-American band is best know for their 1988 hard rock hit “Cult of Personality”. 47 years ago the #1 song in America was “Game of Love” by Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders. The group hit #2 a year later with their tune “Groovy Kind of Love” but never #1 again. Does this song bring back any memories?

Human Nature by Michael Jackson has been sampled numerous times, however only a few times has the sample yielded a hit song on the Billboard charts. In this mashup, the original Human Nature, Chris Brown’s recent hit “She Ain’t You” and SWV’s “Right Here” are mixed up in this nice rendition.

One of my favorite theme songs of all-time is the 1970s classic The Jeffersons. Every time I hear this song, it makes want to dance.
