25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Richard Marx “Keep Coming Back”

When Chicago-born musician Richard Marx released his third album, Rush Street, in October 1991, he had hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with each of his first nine singles. He would add to that total with three more singles from Rush Street before the streak ended. The first of those three Top 20 hits from Rush Street was “Keep Coming Back,” which exactly 25 years ago was in its second week at a peak position of number 12.
