25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Prince “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World”
In his original run on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart (i.e., not counting the chart return of some of his songs in the two weeks after his death in 2016), Prince hit the Top 5 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart eleven times. Exactly 25 years ago, the last of those eleven songs, “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,” was in its final week in the Top 5 after peaking at number 3.
